High-functioning is not the same as well

On the people who hold everything together and quietly wonder why it costs so much.

Competence is an excellent hiding place. If the work gets done, the emails are answered, and nobody is worried about you, distress can run for years without ever being addressed.

The tell is usually not performance but recovery. How long does it take you to feel like a person again after a demanding week? What happens on the first unstructured day? For many high-functioning people the answer is that rest feels worse than work, because work is what keeps the interior quiet.

This is not a character flaw and it is not laziness in disguise. It is a coping structure that worked, and structures that work are the hardest to dismantle, because you have real evidence in their favour.

Start small and specific: one hour a week that has no output, no audience, and no purpose. Notice what shows up. That is usually the material.
